Insult to Injury (in the retail world)

Besides having trouble with low energy and digestion, I (like many of my readers) suffer from joint pain. It's been especially bad the past few months, but I am back to the point where I want to build strength. My best bet: gentle aquatics geared for people with fibro or arthritis or as rehabilitation/strength-building.

I found the class I could take, but the thing is, I don't have a proper bathing suit. I mean, I HAVE a bathing suit, but it's the same one I've had for about 10 years. The top is completely without elasticity. I thought that since I will be bobbing around in the water, I should get something with better support so I'm not...well...REALLY bobbing around in the water.

I just spent an hour trying on bathing suit tops ( I tried one-piece bathing suits at first, but they pull on my shoulders too much).

Who are these things made for?

If it fit my bust, it didn't fit around my ribcage properly...or it pulled on my shoulders/neck. Unreal. It was so bad that I have had to come home and leave the ordeal for another day because my wingblades and neck (and ego) have suffered too much from just the act of trying these things on.

So, o.k...I need to swim to build up my strength, but to do so I need a bathing suit...but trying ON bathing suits have caused me more pain than I have experienced in many months.

It's just so wrong.
